Flame Sensor Fire Detection Module

Product Description

• Can detect flames or light with wavelengths from 760nm–1100nm.
  
• Test flame detection distance is about 80cm (with a lighter). The larger the flame, the longer the detection distance.
  Detection angle is about 60°, especially sensitive to the flame spectrum.
• Adjustable sensitivity (adjusted by the blue potentiometer shown in the picture).
  
• Comparator output with clean signal and good waveform, strong driving ability (over 15mA).
  
• Equipped with a precision adjustable potentiometer to adjust sensitivity.
  Working voltage: 3.3V–5V

• Output types:
  D0 digital switch output (0 and 1)
  A0 analog voltage output
  Mounting holes provided for easy installation.
  
• Uses LM393 comparator chip.
  Instructions
  The flame sensor is sensitive to flames and also responds to ordinary light. It is generally used for flame alarms and similar applications.
  
• The module output interface can be directly connected to a microcontroller I/O port.
  Keep a certain distance between the sensor and the flame to avoid damage from high temperature. The lighter test flame detection distance is about 80cm. The larger the flame, the longer the detection distance.
  The module’s analog output can be processed through AD conversion to obtain higher accuracy.
